Made from 12oz lightweight denim, this jacket offers a light and comfortable feel similar to a shirt. The fabric is woven on old-fashioned shuttle looms using slub yarn for a natural, uneven texture. Deeply dyed warp threads ensure a pronounced fade with wear, and the selvedge detailing on the inner placket highlights its shuttle loom construction.

This jacket is equipped with distinctive details such as a cinch back belt and laurel wreath donut buttons. The flapless chest pocket is characteristic of 40's jackets, while the modern button attachment method on the cuffs is inspired by post-50's jackets, making it easy to wear.

Action pleats across the back allow for greater mobility, reducing stress and discomfort during movement. Additionally, the jacket features a cowhide leather patch which will develop unique creases and color changes over time, enhancing the jacket's vintage appeal.

The Flat Head is one of the benchmark Japanese repro Americana-style brands. Its founder, Mayashi Kobayashi, is known in the scene for being a die-hard fanatic of 1950s American style.
