Kauri are an ancient species who naturally occur only in the Northern tip of NZ. The largest (by volume) and certainly most famous tree in NZ is a kauri called Tāne Mahuta in the Waipoua Forest.

• machine wash cold with like colours

• avoid bleach

• line dry in the shade if possible

• do not dry clean

• our prints are fine to iron over (as they are heat cured)

• designs can fade over time, and fading is hastened by frequent hot washes

Wellington-based duo Kimberly and James have turned their background in biology and “bird nerd” obsession into a t-shirt business.  All of the design and print work is done in-house in Days Bay, New Zealand - from rough sketches through to finished art work, transferring the art to silk screens and printing. They screen-print all products by hand, using low environmental impact water-based inks. Their t-shirts are designed in New Zealand, and made in either China or Bangladesh. The production facilities are all , ensuring a sweat-shop free product and ethical work conditions.
